Embodied Gardens is a site-responsive project initiated by Rhyzome Choreographic School inviting artist Ria Alexandrou to engage with the Municipal garden as a civic and choreographic space, a site that can nurture shared presence and cultivate embodied ways of being in the city. Working on site with the already existing elements of the garden , ephemeral gestures unfold through time inviting the audience and passersby to explore together these new constellations and materialities.
A zine with scores, texts, and images accompanies the project.
